Association members meet monthly, generally on a Thursday, from noon
until 2:00 p.m. Meeting notices describing the topic and guest
speaker(s) are sent to all members before every meeting.
Meetings are conducted in the form of roundtable discussions, panel
presentations or speakers on compensation topics of interest to the
members. Members are surveyed regularly regarding topics of interest.
Members may also provide or arrange for meeting presenters by working
with a Steering Committee member.
Lunch is provided at meetings at a nominal cost of $15 per member,
non-member cost is $25 per person. Reservations and payment by credit
card must be made in advance of each event by clicking on the Pay in
Advance link following the summary of the upcoming event.

Our Speaker, Ramy Taraboulsi, is the CEO and Founder of SyncBase - Parent of OPTRACK, a fully secure web-based solution that keeps track of all activities related to employee stock options and other types of equity instruments for public and private companies. OPTRACK handles option activities ranging from data entry to the full administration, valuation, expensing, reporting, tax, share dilution and the complete note disclosures. Mr. Taraboulsi also serves as director of various companies, is an Adjunct Professor with Tyndale University in Toronto, and is a published Author. Prior to founding SyncBASE, he held executive level positions with Mercer Consulting, Merrill Lunch, Fidelity Investments and Insurance Bureau of Canada. Mr. Taraboulsi also has significant concurrent academic experience. He writes and lectures extensively in the areas of: Option Valuation Methods and Strategies, Employee Stock Option Accounting Methods and Strategies, Strategic approaches to Market Traded Options, Business Ethics, Corporate Governance, Business Systems Analysis and Data Modeling. He has held the position of Professor of Ethics, Leadership and Corporate Governance at Seneca College and Adjunct Professor, Schulich School of Business at York University. In terms of his education, Mr. Taraboulsi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, an M.Sc. in Computer Science, an MBA and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
