Association members meet monthly, generally on a Thursday, from noon until 2:00 p.m. Meeting notices describing the topic and guest speaker(s) are sent to all members before every meeting.
Meetings are conducted in the form of roundtable discussions, panel presentations or speakers on compensation topics of interest to the members. Members are surveyed regularly regarding topics of interest. Members may also provide or arrange for meeting presenters by working with a Steering Committee member.
Lunch is provided at meetings at a nominal cost of $15 per member, non-member cost is $25 per person. Reservations and payment by credit card must be made in advance of each event by clicking on the Pay in Advance link following the summary of the upcoming event.
Picking up where we left off in our January meeting on job evaluation, we'll begin the third quarter of 2008 by looking at the evolution of job evaluation, examining how it's improved and, perhaps most importantly, highlighting the broader applications of a formalized job evaluation beyond its primary purpose.
